Our Natural State

I’M DOING A SERIES OF POSTS AS I READ THIS BOOK; TERRY COLE-WHITTAKER‘S WHAT YOU THINK OF ME IS NONE OF MY BUSINESS. THE SUBTITLE IS ABOUT FOLLOWING YOUR INNER PATH TO HAPPINESS, SUCCESS AND SELF-FULFILMENT.

This chapter has been interesting reading as I lie in my hospital bed on the latest stage of my cancer treatment. Chapter 7 says “good health is our natural state “.

When we lack the courage to take care of ourselves, we unconsciously try to solve problems by becoming sick which is probably the poorest way to handle a situation.

Illness is, of course, an alarm system. It is the final means the body has of notifying you that you are doing something wrong. If you observe the circumstances when the alarm is first sounded you can often take care of the situation before the illness becomes severe.

Getting sick is a means of self punishment for many. There are others who think disease is a way to gain comfort, attract attention, avoid doing some thing they fear. They think they will be safer sick than healthy.

Affirmations are:

“Good health is my natural state”

“I, knowing that God is my source, feel healthy and alive”.

“I have abundant health and energy to do exactly what I want “.

I would have so much to share here from my own personal experience as I’m sure some of you guys have too.

Sleep tight and healthy hugs from me, who is, and will always be, far bigger and stronger and more loving than any disease that attempts to sabotage my true calling! (It’s just making me more determined!!)
